First Rooted Staff Member- Allie VanOss!


Allie will be working about 5 hours a week for Rooted to assist Mary with worship, meet with any Rooted young adults for prayer and encouragement, and help with ministry development. We are excited for Allie to join us and use her gifts and see heart for the Lord in action in this community!

Here is Allie's bio of introduction to First CRC...
Meet Allie our new Worship Coordinator who will be starting this week! Allie Van Oss is the Worship Coordinator who will help plan and lead Sunday morning gatherings. Allie believes that worship is more than music and singing; it is our invitation to draw near to God. As a large part of our response to God’s presence and action in our lives, worship is a powerful space where spiritual growth and transformation happen. Allie sees it as an immense privilege to be in her role here at First CRC in creating and leading these spaces of worship corporately.
Allie has been on more worship teams than she can count and has been leading worship with guitar, piano and voice for nearly a decade. Also passionate about relational ministry, she’s previously worked in youth ministry and currently works in the young adults/college ministry, Rooted.
Allie graduated from Cornerstone University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies, and hails from the small town of Hamilton where her family still lives. When she’s not working she is probably doing one of these things: experimenting with a new recipe, sewing some sort of quilt project, or sitting in a local coffee shop with either a dear friend or a good book.
