Community Group Questions




What’s a one-word label you’d love to have? When people look at you they say, “That person is ___________?
Talk about a time when a label affected the way you see yourself. (positive or negative)
Why do you think labels matter so much to us?


The woman who met Jesus was marked as “unclean”. In what ways did her label affect how her community saw her? How do you think she saw herself?


Think about the things you say to people in a given day—what if they took to heart every off-handed word or subtle glare?
Can you think of a time where something simple and off-handed affected you in a significant way?


If God were labeling you right now, what do you think He would say about you?


How would you treat others differently if you saw them the way God sees them? Share a time where your perspective changed towards a person and you saw them more as a Child of the King as opposed to your preconceived notion.
