January 17: Luke 3. Level Mountains and Fill Valleys

1. What philosophical or theological questions have always bothered you? Made you curious? Seemed confusing?

2. Where (other than God) do you tend to lean towards? In other words, where do you often put your trust and hope only to find that it dissapoints? (yourself, other people, habits, activity...?)

3. What are some ways we wash ourselves up first and wrongly put obedience before reliance? 

 4. This seems like a simple, clique', "skip that"-type of question, but it is everything...  How can the 'Good News' actually be good news to you? 
How can it bring you rest, joy, peace, and life?
I hope you know that the good news is not deficient in its own power, but are we making for straight roads for the King or do we ask the Creator of the Universe--King Jesus to take some zig-zag back alley into our lives?

5. What Mountains need to be knocked down and valleys filled to make a way for King Jesus in your life?
